One problem with WIN XP Pro is the Restore. I can restore an entire backup
(Full or Differential.) Win XP Pro Backup Help says that one can restore
individual files or folders from a tree, but I have not been able to get the
tree. I have not found anyone who has actually done it, though quite a few
people send me the Help file instructions, thinking that means that it can
be done.
Any ideas would be appreciated,
Carol

I just now created a .bkf file of my C drive. Went to the "restore and manage media" tab. Then I clicked the + sign in front of file, clicked the + sign in front of the created file, placed a checkmark in the box for the C drive, clicked the + sign and the tree appeared in the left and right panes. There were checkmarks already placed in front of all items, meaning all would be replaced, the marks would need to be removed from the items not requiring replacement. I cleared that checkmark and checked the 2nd C and no items were checked.

What items are you really trying to backup that might need replacement using this method? There may be better programs available to obtain the desired results.
