Selecting Text in Address TextBox of IE 6

How do you enable IE6 so that text can be selected by
double-clicking with a mouse?

On one of my boxes, clicking with the mouse will only
select the entire URL in the Address TextBox. On the
other I can select any word simply by double-clicking.

I have all the updates applied to both boxes~

Is this configurable? Did an update enable this
functionality?

Please help! The double-clicking is much more convenient.

Hold down the left mouse button and drag it over just the text you want.
Then press Ctrl-C. You can now Paste it anywhere you want with Ctrl-V.
