I recently ran into a problem I haven't been able to figure out.
When I open a directory containing .mp3 files, then select
(single-click) on one of them, the directory freezes. That is,
I can no longer perform any operation on that directory.
Can't close it, can't select a different file - nothing. It happens
in any directory I select an .mp3 file.
If I leave the computer for a long time, hour or so, when I
come back I can close the directory normally. Otherwise,
I have to use the Task Manager to shut it down. While the
directory is hung up, I can go to WMP, open and play the
file that was selected so the file is OK.
Anybody have any ideas on this?
