At some point of using Outlook, I enabled the Advanced
toolbar. Now I want it not to show, but everytime I remove
it, it returns the next time I launch Outlook.

How can I permanently disable it from appearing?

I'm using Outlook XP.

Thanks,

Rob

Close Outlook, then find and rename the outcmd.dat file to outcmd.old.
Restart Outlook and all the default toolbars and buttons should be
recreated. Make your preferred changes and they should stick from now on.
Back up the new outcmd.dat file so you can restore it later if you run into
the same problem.

Note: If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden
and system folders to find the outcmd.dat file.

Thanks that seems to have done it.
