Select Record Queries

I would like to create a query that uses a Combo box to
lists certain information relating to a table and then
hopefully use a command button or similar to display that
record.

Does anyone know of a way of doing this or something
similar to enable this to work.

You need a form to do what you want. Create a form to display the data you
want and then use the Combo Box wizard to add a combo box that displays
related info and filters what you see in the form when you select a new
value.
