Here is my issue: I am trying to install network adapters
that I have had in my laptop before. Windows XP gets
halfway through their installs and then errors out,
saying that a file it was looking for cannot be found. I
then go into Network Connections, go to the properties of
the card and try to install a protocol. I click on the
Install button, and get my choice of Client, Service, and
Protocol. When I click on ANY of these three choices, I
get the following error [Could not add the requested
component. The error is: The system cannot find the file
specified]. My wife has the exact same machine, so if
anyone knows what the file is, I could maybe pull it off
of her's and add it to mine. Thanks.
