12 of the TIFF images in (~/tmp/photographs/20060528-tif) converted
from RAW are of scan0001.tif/raw.
The next 12 images in ~/tmp/photographs/20060528-tif are of
scan0002.tif/raw. The next 12 images in ~/tmp/photographs/20060528-tif
are of scan003.tif/raw and then segfault when reading scan004?

The folder contents size was approx. 5GB -- still plenty of free space
on the drive.

"Set "Input|Batch scan" to "All" to scan all files, or set it to "List"
and manually set the frame numbers. For instance, if you set this to
"1-3,5,7", then scan0001.tif, scan0002.tif, scan0003.tif, scan0005.tif
and scan0007.tif will be processed when you press the "Scan" button."

Setting a list to "1-5,7,8" is not common for most users. Maybe a
"mouse over info box" should display an example of "1-5,7,8"?
