I've ripped a muscle in my side!
All very painful & am using a weightlifters style support for the next few weeks.
The Doc says it will heal in time, but did the same muscle last year.:(

OUCH! That must really hurt Murdoch, sorry to hear that. Shall be right over with the horse liniment ;)

I've told you before Murdoch, when ploughing a field it really does help to use a tractor :D

Get well soon sah :)

get well soon laddy
what muscles is it?
how did it happen?

careful with the belt, that will only weaken the rest of your muscles.

Inter Costic something near upper chest?
I was doing some gardening when i turned round & wham i pulled it.
It's been suggested that going to a gym & trying to strengthen the chest muscles may help.:thumb:

Hope it get's better soon Murdoch! How long did it take last time around?

4 months!
But it's the type of injury the Doc says can cause a weakness in the muscle.
Hence the latest injury could be the same muscle again.:(

External intercostal by any chance?

How bad is the pain though?

Does it hurt when you press down on it?

parallel dips are great for strength but it's important here not to do any excercise that causes you pain. I'm no physio but I love learning about the body and am always learning about injury prevention.

It's basically the Breast Muscle.
And am off to the gym for the next few weeks to strenghten the upper breast muscle.
But being careful not to over do it!
