I've encountered a problem with my MSN, seems it's sending "pics" to my friends list and giving them the same problem I've got.

I've run SpyBot, Super AntiSpyware and MSN Photo Virus Remover, MSN Virus Info Gatherer, a-squared and am currently running the Windows Live One Care Safety Scanner. I've tried system restore as well, but it wouldn't restore to a previous date and I tried several times. I've uninstalled and reinstalled MSN as well.

I'm lost at what to try next, so if someone has a suggestion, I'm all for it!

Simple answer and I will say it again>> Dont use MSN messenger. Its full of baddies.... use a good AV like Avast> Anti-vir. Windows defender is at the top of the list at the moment.

Thanks itsme, I've tried your Windows Defender, but it came back that my system is running all right...which it's not! It's very frustrating, since my internet provider keeps disconnecting my service since my computer is sending out spam...GRRRR I've installed AVAST and I noted that it's only available to me for 59 more days, but I hope that this thing evens out before that. I've also been suggested to use "the cleaner" off of www.moosoft.com so I will try that later on. Still waiting for the results of the Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner.

Thanks so much for getting back to me!

With Avast it is free just request a key enter your email they will send it insert it in the program where appropriate and thats it;) get back if you still have problems.

Thanks so much...

Another Q for ya itsme...have you ever used the software HijackThis? I've run a few scans, but it's looking like the silly thing is still with me, so I'm getting desperate :S

Thanks itsme, I think I've got rid of the pesky trojan! :)

Your welcome! Now keep the PC clean. Don`t forget to scan with AV on a regular basis, and before you open anything right click on whatever it is and scan with your AV especially MSN messages.
