I have a spec to build a syslof server for a client's unix
systems/network probably hosted on a net or open BSD box. Obviously
unix O/s' offer a syslog server solution "out of the box" so to speak,
but I'm wondering if anyone can point me to freeware/shareware syslog
servers (presumably source to be compiled) that offer more than the
standard "suck it all in and log it" approach of the standard unix
server.
any and all help appreciated.
cheers
