hi all
One of my clients handed me her files in MS Publisher for me to edit. Is
there an import utility or reader utility I can use in Lotus or Word to
edit this?

thanks

No there isn't. If you were a lawyer, typically you'd buy Publisher and
bill the client :-)

Well, I guess you will be making up new words today:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/previous/xp/columns/column16.asp

There is no known utility that can convert PUB files without having
Publisher itself.
(Then you can save it as HTML)

If you have Adobe PageMaker 6.52 then you could try
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=374

Sorry, but that is all there is to it.

Ah if it only.. Can people save to RTF in that program? I guess I can
download the trial version.

I guess I missed where you mentioned which version was required. Anyway,
you could have them install any one of a thousand different PDF printer
drivers that are freely available and have them print their documents to a
file using the PDF printer driver...as long as you have something that will
read PDF's.

Yes, I have the full adobe publishing suite.

I use Publisher that came with Office 2000 and there is the option to
save in RTF format with that version.

There is a small Converter utility for PageMaker 6.5 and above
Version 7 has combined both utilities for Publisher and Quark
filer conversion into one utility
