Seeking invisiblity

Basically I want to know if there is away to have winxp surfing anonymously
or invisible.If not what program works best with msie 6.0
Also on another subject, I have tried to lock my computer but it won't lock
am I missing something if so let me know what it is please.

Not a program, but one of the best web-based anonymous servers is
www.anonymouse.org - it allows web surfing, email and newsgroup postings,
all anonymously.

It's free if you can put up with adverts on your web pages, but you can
pay so much a year (can't remember what it is but not a lot) to get them
removed.
