Hi,

I need to put two figures next to each other closely. The figures'
background are "no fill". But one figure's white surrounding space
blocks the other figure's image. If I send this figure to back, the
other figure will have the same problem. I am wondering how I can make
the figures' background transparent so their white space will not block
others' image.

These figures are eps files, generated by Photo Shop.

Thank you very much.

Unless you have a very good reason for using EPS, I wouldn't.

Try PNG instead; you can probably use an alpha channel to eliminate the white
