seeing URLs when viewing in preview pane

hi all.

recently upgraded to office xp from 2000. in 2000, when
mouseOver-ing URL in the preview pane, the URL would show
in the status bar. but in XP - i dont see it. is there a
way to see the link without having to launch it?

That was because Outlook 2000 uses Outlook Express for this which shows
links in the satust bar. You can't do this in Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2003.
You can however lookup the link in the source. Rightclick in a white area of
the mail and choose View Source. In the editor that opens look for the word
which holds the link and you should be able to find it.
