I am having a problem viewing some graphics. Not all - but some (like the Ad
on my.yahoo.com page) show up as big solid red squares. I downloaded Java
Software and that didn't work - I tried downloading Flash 9 - that didn't
work. I am having this problem on my laptop running Vista Home Premium. The
same website on my Desktop shows all of the graphics fine and it is XP - so I
am thinking that it has something to do with Vista - but what??? Has there
been anything to replace Microsoft VM?? That is the only thing that I can
find anyway - that is running on my Desktop that I don't have on my Laptop?
HELP!!

Donna,

Many websites also require the installation of the Adobe Shockwave
Player, which was formerly called the Macromedia Shockwave Player. It is
different than the Adobe Flash Player.
You can download the player from Adobe's website. You must also keep in
mind that your problem could be caused by third party software that blocks
advertisements and popups. If you have such software on your system you must
correct or change your settings.
Have a nice day.

C.B.
