Is they any way that I can see a calender located in a public folder side by
side with my personal calender

A Calendar is located @ Rentors.org
But i was told if there is not a net work that the outlook calendar will not
work off line. Thank You thou

Thanks for the info but that did not answer my question. In outlook 2003 we
have an exchange server that has a posted public calendar. Under a public
folder, not in sharepoint. Since it is in a public folder can I list it
under my calendars or shared calendars in order to get a side by side view of
the two???

Yes, indeed. Drag it to Public Folders\Favorites to add it to the list in the navigation pane.

Yes, there's a simple way of doing it.

Switch to Folder view, and find your calendar folder in 'public folders'.
Right click on it and choose 'add to favorites'

Switch to calendar view. The calendar should be listed under 'other
calendars'.

Tick the little box on both your calendar and the shared one and you will
see the contents of both, side-by-side.

Thanks for the help.

It was the answer that I have been looking for

I chcecked out both links. I need a good primer on setting up shared
calendars in Outlook 2002 running Exchange server 2002. Several coworkers
have come to me recently with this type request. CAn you point me in teh
right direction?

Thanks

As I am new to this concept of public folders and calendars therein, I was
intrigued by your answer. However I can find no "Little box" to tick in
either calendar, is that a feature of a version later than 2000 or XP? I
tried the sequence on both, but no luck.

I did find an option to open calendar in new window, which allowed me to
resize and see both caledars at same time, just not synced.

Or have I totally misread your instruction?

This didn't work for me initially. I had accidentally deleted a shared public
folders calendar from my "other calendars" list and couldn't navigate to it
through the "open other calendar" link. The calendar was already in my
favorites list. However, when I deleted it from my favorites and then added
it back in, the calendar appeared in the other calendars list again.

Thanks for the tip off!
