For some reason my Windows Mail has stopped showing html. As late as 5PM this evening I was able to see stationery posts , but now all I get is text.

Never mind...seems those computer gremlins got into my mail options and clicked on read in text only....;D

am receiving e-mail as attachments. how do I change the settings?

Are these forwarded emails?
Sounds like the sender is using "Forward as attachment".

See if deleting the TIF, Temp' Internet Files & History, changes this
behaviour?
Open IE (Internet Explorer)>tools menu>internet options.
