see through

Whenever I right click or click on a toolbar, the box is see through and i have to run the mouse over the words for them to show up. It's really annoying and i hope someone can help me. Thank you.

Have you changed themes or played around with appearance settings? You need
to go to Display> Appearance tab> Advanced and look for the menu.Then set
the font color to a contrasting color.
Or change the theme.
