Securring my database - Please Help

Hello,

I'm trying to secure my database and for the life of me I can't get it
straight. I have tried and tried again, and for some reason, I can figure it
out. This is my situation.

My boss had me create a database for the whole company. It is going being
stored in a folder on a citrix server so that other people will have access
to it. He wants them to enter their usernames and passwords to gain access
to this database.

I have followed so many instructions/directions on the web but like I said,
I don't know what I'm doing or not doing wrong.

Does anyone have a fool-proof instuctions manual or know of any sites that I
should visit to help me out.

I'm on a deadline and I have two weeks to get this done so any help will be
greatly appreciated.
