Hi,

I have set up security for 3 Access Tables, all of which
point to the same workgroup. In setting up a new user,
they double-clicked on one of the secure databases, and it
opened up no problem. Why did it not prompt her for a
password? I know I can set her computer up to point to
the right workgroup, but I want to be able to keep out any
new users that I don't want to access a database. Please
advise me on what I did wrong!

Thanks for this link, Joan. I've read two separate books
on setting up Access security, but not this FAQ. I have
downloaded the FAQ & printed it - I will start reading and
post any questions!
