I have Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional

I just had my computer worked on. Now I am unable to
enter my user ID or password. No matter what I do it
won't let me in. In the user ID box it said Administator
then ask for password. I never used the word
Administator.

How can I find out how to get into my computer with out
needing a user ID or password.

How do I find out how to undo the mass it is in.I got
into F2 once but it won't let me back in!! HELP

Two possibilities:

1. You have the right newsgroup

If you have the right newsgroup, then try replacing the name
Administrator with whatever name you used before

2. The above makes no sense to you and therefore I am guessing you are in
the wrong newsgroup. This news group is for questions about security
features of Microsoft Access a database program.

In that case you need a Microsoft Windows (2000?) newsgroup. However I
do have a suggestion. Take it back to whoever worked on it and have them
return it to the condition you want. It should be without charge. You
however should have administrator rights if you own the computer.

Have you tried no password at all, just hitting enter? Was the operating
system updated? The word Administrator is generally used for the user who
has full rights to make any kind of change to the machine. You may also be
able to sign on as visitor without a password.
