security wizard hangs in 2000

I am trying to secure a 2000 Access database with SP3 using the MS Access
Security FAQ. When I run the security wizard and make all the selections the
wizard appears to run ie: a bar shows up in the bottom of the screen with
one bar and the wording securing the database but stays like that without
moving. I left this for a number of hours but finally had to close the app.

The wizard mentions some report at the end of securing the db so obviously
something is up. The front end is on the local pc and backend on a sever
with the workgroup file.

Don't use the wizard in 2000.

Thanks for the recommendation and the link. I was following the MS Security
and trying to remove all the permissions as they suggest, when it would hang
.. But will follow the secure manually that you suggest.
