Security Wizard froze on me

I just tried to correctly secure my first multi-user database. I was
following the steps in the Security FAQ to the letter (I believe). When I
got to step 7, running the Security Wizard, it went well until I said
"Finish" and it started creating the new database. The new database opened
(showed the database window) and there was a "securing database" progress
bar in the status bar, that just stopped for over 10 minutes. So I closed
the program and now it won't run at all. Luckily I make a backup which
still works.
I'm going to try again, but wanted to see if anyone has had this experience
or knows how to avoid it. I used the wizard to set up users, passwords, and
groups. Perhaps next time I won't do that and just do it all by hand.
Any ideas?
thanks

If you've got the hang of what the wizard is doing then try to secure it
manually. The example on my web site might help. Back up your files before
you start.

Thanks Keith, I will do it manually. The description on your website really
helps.

I have had this experience. Search for my note in Access Security:-"Wizard
not working - Database not secured"
