Hi.

I'm trying to build my first database using Access 2003.
I just started building one for my passwords and software
serial numbers and I saved it, but when I try to open it
I get the following warning :

"Security Warning, Unsafe expressions are not blocked"

I already installed the latest Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service
Pack 8,but the warning continues to show.

How can I get rid of this?

BTW: The database was saved in "mdb" format file,
is this OK?

I'll appreciate any help regarding this matter.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Not sure how you could have installed Jet SP 8...it isn't even out yet. In
any case, to disable the prompt, you need to set macro security level to
low.

I did not install Microsoft Jet 4 SP 8.
I assumed I had it installed since the warning sign said
that I had to install JET 4 SP 8 to continue
and the Windows Update downloaded a JET update
that I thought it was the 8, but maybe not.

How do I set the macro security level to low?

Many thanks
Paul

I forgot to tell that I am using a Beta version. : (
I will wait for the final release.

thanks again
Paul
