security updates fail to install

these two updated keep trying to install and they always fail
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.0 Service Pack 3
(KB928367)
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1
(KB928366)

what could of caused this? had no problems up to now!1
