While doing a Windows Update in my WinXP Pro PC, a security update for
IE6 was listed which is why I installed it but since then whenever I
visit any website with only a single instance (window) of IE open,
Windows generates a Just In Time error after which IE closes. I have
been facing some other problems as well with IE since the update.
For e.g. being a standalone PC & I being the only user of my PC, I
have added the Inbox of my mail as a Favorite. Earlier my Inbox used
to open in IE in a flash but now it takes an awful lot of time to
open.
In fact, today I realized that Windows generates the Just In Time
error whenever it pleases to. & when I click OK in that error message
dialog, all the IE windows close.
I would like to uninstall this IE update. How do I do it? I had a look
at the items listed in "Add or Remove Programs" in Control Panel (with
the "Show Updates" checkbox checked) but this IE update isn't listed
there.
