Security Update Server

I recently installed a local SUS server on my network. I
did it, step by step, according to Microsoft deployment
guide.
When I try to connect to http://servername/susadmin, I
have no problems, but when I try to connect to
http://servername, I get the following error message:

Under Construction
The site you were trying to reach does not currently have
a default page. It may be in the process of being
upgraded.

the problem, try contacting the Web site administrator.

Could someone please help.

And the problem is ???

SUS is for deploying updates via policies, the Automatic Updates client
and similar automated methods, not for manual updates by going to a web
page.

True. The only web site you should be seeing is the Administrative Web Site. You
can tell if your client CAN connect by going to SETTINGS- CONTROL PANEL -
AUTOMATIC UPDATES (Should be grayed out with text at the top indicating "Windows
can find the updates you need...")
