Security Update Files

I just looked under the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and saw that all the downloaded security updates from Microsoft are there, and take up a lot of disc space.

Once the security update files are downloaded and installed, can these files be removed by using the Add/Remove program
 
If you do that, you uninstall the fix leaving the computer without the
fix.
You can safely delete the uninstall files:
