Does anyone know why I have received this update every day
for the past two weeks? Also, what, if anything, need I
do about it? (Other than install it the first time.)

Define "received" Did it get emailed to you or do you have Windows auto
update? If it was emailed then it's bogus and if you applied it consider
your pc hijacked and take the necessary steps to correct it. If it was an
update from Win updating then it's legit.
