Security Templates in Windows 2000

There are prefiined security templates in windows 2000.
what ties in BASICWK template - I know it provides basic
level of security but what are they?

Same question for other predefined templates -
Securews,Basicdc, Securedc.Please help me identify the
details of these templates.
 
click Start | Run , then type in "mmc" and then click ok

Click Console | Add/Remove Snap-in, then click 'Add, then
select Security Configuration/Analysis and Security
Templates, click OK, Ok etc. and then open up each
template in the 'configuration' part, and review each
setting. to know what each one does, try grabbing the
security guidelines for win2k / 2003 or whatever by
searching through microsoft.
