Security settings

I have tried to access the Local settings folder in Vista Business. It says
I need to use the security tab but I cant get it to give me access. Can
anyone explain how this works please.

Just upgraded yesterday.

That folder is actually a junction point, all it contains is a link to
another folder. Any folder that is dimmed and has the curved arrow overlay
is a junction point and they all are access denied. You don't need to go
into it, just go to the folder it links to. To find out what that is open
an elevated command prompt. Navigate to the folder that contains the Local
Settings folder and give the command:

dir /al /s

All the junction points in that folder will be listed along with the folder
to which it links.
\Users\<Username>\Local Settings junction point links to
\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local
