have a new computer, running windows xp home and internet explorer 6. A web
site that I have used many times in the past, on windows 95 - old computer, I
now am having problem. The site involves my putting information in a form,
searching, and accessing the results. This is the message "Warning page has
expired. The page you requested was created using information you submitted
on a form. This page is no longer available as a security precaution.
Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you".
Can I disable this setting and if so, how? Thanks

That is a security measure to correct a vulnerability -

Open another window to do the searching... if you must use full screen then
hit the buttons along the bottom taskbar to switch views. Soon get used to
doing it.

Thank you for the answer. I've been working on this a lot today. If you could
please help again. Open another window to do the searching? I haven't a clue.

I simply mean open the window you use for searching then shrink it using
the - gadget so all you have is the button on the task bar, then open the
window with the form and switch between the windows by using the buttons on
the taskbar.

That way if you like full sized windows you don;t actually close a window or
move from it so as to lose data.

Get used to using right mouse button and "Open in new window" too because it
saves time.
