Recently I ran across a web site that used several Flash images and I was
told to upgrade to Adobe Flash Player 9. I clicked to download the upgrade
but it would not install. I went through all of the help on the Adobe site
and was told to uninstall the previous version. That was a huge mistake. I
can now no longer see anything created with Flash or download anything from
them. I was told my security settings in IE may have been set to prevent the
ActiveX from downloading. I have manipulated the security settings to allow
ActiveX and it actually downloads but Adobe Flash Player will not. I do not
want to upgrade to IE 7 because I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking for all of my
computer access since I am a quadriplegic and cannot manipulate a keyboard.
IE 7 has caused problems with NaturallySpeaking. Does anyone have any
suggestions on how to download and install Adobe Flash Player. Adobe will
not respond. Thanks.
