Which security settings on my computer do I lower or change
in order NOT to constantly get all those irritating IE pop up windows every
time I click a link, open a picture, download something etc. I get that
"You are leaving a secure connection" one. I also get various other ones
such as "do you want to open this file from an unknown source?" and various
others having to do with my security settings being set too tight, I guess.
I am not overly concerned with alot of security as much as I am with these
goofy pop up windows all the time that take alot of extra time to click them
closed when I am working in a feverish mode. As mentioned earlier, I don't
surf much with this computer, it's mostly for work only so high security
isn't an issue for me.

There are so many confusing choices to do with "scripts" etc. in the
security tab of the control panel setting and I am afraid I will check or
uncheck the wrong ones. Can someone please tell me which ones I should
change? Thanks.

Not an Outlook problem. This is a Windows/IE security setting and you have
not said your version of Windows. If you have XP, upgrade to IE 7. It has
better security and might solve your problem. You can lower your high
security settings in Internet Options, Security and Privacy. Change Security
to Medium or Medium High for the Internet Zone. Repost in your operating
system forum for more help or use Windows Help.

I don't want IE 7 as it is not compatible with Quickbooks pro which I use for
business. Medium or Medium High settings for internet zone are far to secure
for my use, as this is what, I believe is probably causing my problem as that
is what I am set on now. I will go to a different forum where someone might
be able to tell me exactly what to do. Thank you.
