security problem

I set up some user accounts on our database for security purposes. This added
a couple of files to the folder that the database was stored it. It has all
worked well until our computer guy upgraded all of our computers except one
to 2007. I can no longer access the security files and therefore the database
on any computers except the one that hasn't been upgraded. The files have
changed from access icons to blue run icons. This is a really big problem.
Now I just want to be able to delete the security files and user accounts and
have the database run normally with no passwords. Does anyone have any ideas
about how to go about this??

What kind of security did you apply? The one built into Access (often
called workgroup security) does not add "...a couple of files...".
Perhaps if you would enlighten us about those files?
