Any of you who knows how to restrict users to delete
folders in their shared drive? But they should be able
to crate , modify and delete files. I was able to do
this in windows nt because the security permissions for
folders and files are separate but I wasn't able to do
this in windows 2000. Any suggestions?

You have even more flexibility w/ NTFS permissions on W2K NTFS volumes.
Look in the Advanced button for more details and it should be obvious.
