Can you use group policy to deploy the security patches
and services packs? If not is the another way of
deploying Security updates and services packs.

You may want to look into Software Update Services [free] which requires the
use of an IIS server on the network. It allows you to pre approve patches
before they are issued to domain computers. --- Steve
