Recieved message in my email today(8/1/03) asking me to
check & download this patch so Hackers can not get into
my computor ect.Here is web address that I was given in
message. I did check out this site and it took me right
into Microsofts home page & about patch to download the
number is in subject line. Here is web address:

I saved the message and if you need to see it & read it
please let me know where to send that message so it can
be checked out. Hope someone can help me on this.

Start/All Programs/Windows Update.
Follow the prompts and install all Critical Updates.
If there are a lot, install no more than 4 at a time, then reboot and
repeat the process for the next group.

I would be very leary of e mails sayint that it is from

Microsoft and relate to downloads. The first suggestion
is the best, use window upadtes and you sure toi get to a
secure site. I don't think Bill Gates has all windows
users in his address book and sends out update notices.
