Security override???

As I'm sure you all know there is a security check on Outlook XP that pops
up when external programs try to do things saying:

'A program is trying to access e-mail address you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this? If this unexpected, it may be a virus and you
should choose "No".'

I get this when I sync my phone with Outlook via the cutdown XTND Connect
program you get with Sony Ericsson phones but the warning dialog hs started
shutting down automatically - it pops on the screen and disappears
immeadiatly without me pressing or clicking anything. I know that are
utilities lick ClickYes that do this - BUT I don't have anything like that
installed.

I've checked for viruses with McAfee and spyware with Ad-Aware - both are
clean. I've even uninstalled and re-installed both Office and XTND Connect
which made no difference.

Can anyone suggest A) what's closing the dialog. B) how to stop it and get
back to the default behaviour.

A) A program like Express ClickYes or a script that, in similar fashion,
invokes SendKeys.

B) Not without knowing what's doing it. Check the Windows Task Manager.

Hate to say it, but if you can't track down the cause, I'd start thinking
about doing a full data backup, wiping the disk, and reinstalling Windows
and all software. This is potentially dangerous.
