i have an access 2003 mde file that has been packed with Access 2003 deveoper
extensions. i have just installed it on a stand alone pc. When i open the mde
via a desktop shortcut i get the following sercurity messages. I have a
digital certificate attached to my vb code

Message 1: Security Warning: Unsafe expressions are not blocked. do you want
to block unsafe extressions? Yes or No buttons

Message 2: Security warning:unsafe expressions are not blocked. To block
unsafe expressions, microsoft jet 4.0 service pack 8 or later must be
installed. To get the latest version of jet 4.0, go to
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

*****.mde' may not be safe to open if it contains expressions that were
intended to hard your computer. Do you want to open this file. Yes No buttons
 
Someone correct me if im wrong but I think in access 2003 (with no
application loaded) if you go to Tools ---- Options, you can select security
settings to suppress warnings. I'm not using Access 2003 right now, so I am
not entirely sure if this is correct.
