How do I prevent someone from opening the database by using another workgroup
information file in microsoft access 2003? I have set up a workgroup and
used the user level security wizard, but people not on the security.mdw
workgroup can access the .mdb without logging in.

Then you missed a step in securing it. When security is done properly only
your secure.mdw file would allow the file to be opened.
