I found thru Microsoft that there is a Security Manager
add-in available. It was actually in a knowledge base
article. There were 3 options, sm97, smA2k, smxp. All
are exe files. I downloaded the smA2k and unzipped it
but have not completed the install for an add-in. What I
am writing about is to find out if anyone else has seen
this, tried it, if it is worthwhile, and so on. Mainly
looking for a thumbs up or down. The readme document
makes it sound like Microsoft realizes the difficulty in
the installed security protocols and is offering this as
an easier solution.
If anyone else has tried it, I would be interested in
knowing the outcome.
