First we are running network with 2000 Adv. Servers, with
4 DCs in it. Two of them are at remote sites and the other
2 are here in the main building.
The problem is in AD when we go to allow security access
to account operators. We give them access at the OU level
and check the box to propagate to child objects. We then
have to go to each user and check the inherit from parent
box. When we apply this it seems to take it fine. We
then can do a manual sync of the DCs and it appears to be
fine, but when the normal automatic sync occurs it reverts
the security settings back to what it was on all the
users. I talked with the concierge and he has heard of
this issue, but was unable to point me to any information
it. Has anyone else had this problem?
