Is there somewhere to get info about running a server [2003] & XP Pro. I am
taking a class on networking and have 2 at home with 2 more to tie in later.
I wanted to use one as the Domain controller, and the other as a member
server [xp pro] and the others as users [one xp pro and 2000]
Any ideas how to do it, where to go for some easy to follow info. I am
having problems with setting up a printer and mapping the other computers.
I cannot see the other computers.
Any help appreciated.
Oh and another is a Linux [the dreaded word] system [knoppix or mandrake] if
possible.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Go to the source: Microsoft. They have very excellent articles about
running a server. Go to Win2003 server's home page and start
researching from there.

What do you mean by this? Are you asking how to install Linux? A Linux
system has no problem interacting with Windows machines. Please give
more details about what you are trying to do. Knoppix is a Debian-based
distro that is normally run from cd. You can install it, but I wouldn't
suggest it for a Linux newbie. You'd do better with Mandrake as a
starter.
