Security Implications of WMP10 "Display Media Info from Internet..

WMP10 "Display Media Info from Internet Privacy "

I've found that I need to allow WMP10 to "Display Media Information From the
Internet" in order to have the songs of a CD (that I've purchased from a
local store) listed while I'm playing the CD.

What is the security problem I'll need to be aware of by allowing this
option?

Is it "bad enough" that I should turn the option on, then rip the cd, then
turn it off? I hadn't even planned on ripping the CD, just listening to it.
Is there a better way to handle what ever problem this might cause?
