Does anyone know how I can find out where security groups are applied? I want to do some "clean-up" and need to find out where in our enviroment these secuity groups are applied. They are Golbal security groups in a single domain. Can you do this in AD or are there any products that can do this?

Thanks,
Burley

Burley,

If you have the 2000 Supplement 1 Resource Kit available you can run
subinacl to a text file and it will output all the files/directories and
permissions on the files/folders. Use the following syntax:

subinacl /verbose /output=text.txt /subdirectories c:\

This will output all files, folders and sub folder/files on the C drive,
please not the file will be huge, mine was 45 MB.
