I have recently setup Win-Xp with IE6.0. Everytime I open
my IE it prompts for a login name and password. The
person who was installing had asked for my login and
password. However, I had directed not to tick
the "Remember my password" option. But he disobeyed my
directions. Now therefore whenever I open IE it directly
opens without the prompt(because the login-box doesn't
appear any more). I want to uncheck the option "remember
my password" because I need to change the password.
I therefore seek all of your help.

Go to Start | Connect.
Right click your connection and choose Properties.
Check the box to Prompt for user name and password.
While you're there, click the Advanced tab and enable the WinXP firewall if
you don't have another firewall running.
