I bought my computer new last year. Several components
keyboard, loud speakers and mouse I retained from my old
system. My old system loaded with Windows 98 was traded in
and the new system included Windows XP, Home Edition.
Recently I aquired several viruses and in order to get rid
of them I had to disable my SYSTEMS RESTORE after I
removed the viruses I also lost all reference dates in
the SYSTEMS RESTORE and my computer has become very, very
slow. In order to remedy this I considered to re-format
and re-install Windows XP using the CD supplied with the
computer. The computer will not accept the code I was
given, the code is on a sticker attached to the computer
case. All my efforts to contact the people I bought the
computer from failed. They do not return my phone calls or
reply to my e-Mails - WHAT CAN I DO ?
Thanks,
Gerhard
