Hi
I have experienced problems with a few updates that I have hidden becoming
'unhidden' and reactivated for update download when there is a new revised
or updated issue, and therefore, I never set my updates for Auto-Update,
but, for Notify. Even if you can hide it now, it is possible that it will
be reactivated and/or presented for download again at some point if/when
there are is a revised update issued. IMO, it would be best to install the
blocker if you don't want the IE7 to be automatically downloaded at any
time. If/when you decide you would like to try it you should download it
from the Internet, save it to your hard drive and install it from there.

Hope this helps.
