Windows Defender is an antispyware program. Install an
antivirus program and the alert will probably go away.

Hello! Windows Defender is an antispyware software and spywares are
different from viruses. As Nepatsfan said install antivirus products .

However , if you have never had antivirus software , you now may have virus
in your computer. Before installing full feautured AV software , make sure
your computer is malware free so your install of the AV will not be damaged.
Perform the fast malware removal instructions in my web-site:

Then , install antivirus software . Make sure you have firewall , antivirus
and antispyware tools .
If you don't know what AV to install , the best is Nod32.
I use it and I am happy with it.Maximum protection on low resourses with
daily updates and advanced heuristic protection.

One year license costs $39.

Free antivirus software is AVG , for example , but it is not as good as the
other softwares.
